How to choose the right foundation? Part A
The first thing you need to consider when selecting a foundation is your skin type.
Normal skin – Doesn’t require much hydration, particularly if you live in a humid climate. A light oil-free moisturiser or light liquid foundation is easiest to wear, giving sheer coverage and a natural finish.
Oily Skin – Requires extra powder to balance sebum production. Make sure you select a foundation that is oil-free and controls oil and shine. Use powder-based oil-free liquid/powder foundation specially formulated for oily skin.
Dry Skin – Requires moisture and looks best with a satin finish. Tinted moisturiser is your best option for natural day makeup. For medium coverage, choose a creamy liquid foundation with moisturising and nourishing ingredients to promote younger-looking skin.
Combination Skin – Normal/Dry skin with oily T-zone need a makeup that has moisturizers in it, but it’s oil-free and controls shine in your oily spots.
Sensitive Skin – Those with sensitive skin should always use specific cosmetic products. Your makeup products should be hypoallergenic, non-comedonic and free of fragrances.
